KPF Grantee holds Camp! Sterling Community Center Basketball Camp

The Sterling Community Center is hosting a 3-Day Basketball Camp for children grades K-6!  Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, Sept. 22-24, from 3:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.  Coached by Josh Harshman, participants will learn the basic skills of the game.  Cost: $15 per person.  If a parent/guardian volunteers to help with the camp, up to 2 of his/her children may attend for free!  (Volunteers must sign up by Sept. 19 and pass a basic background check.)  Snacks provided.  Participants must wear non-marking athletic shoes.  Register at the Sterling Community Center.  This camp is made possible by a grant from the Kenai Peninsula Foundation.

What:  Youth Basketball Camp

When:  Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, Sept. 22-24 (3 days), 3:45-5:45 p.m.

Where:  Sterling Community Center

*Coaches will meet children in the Sterling Elementary School lobby after school and walk together to the Community Center.

*Children must be picked up at the Sterling Community Center by 5:50 p.m.

Cost:  $15 (Free for children of parent/guardian camp volunteers! Call SCC for details.)
